Kai Affective Intelligence is built for privacy by design. No PII is retained. Aggregated outputs enforce an anonymisation floor. Customers hold all re-identification keys.

Anonymisation

  • Raw text is never stored.
  • Per-uid signals are retained for 90 days for trend computation, then deleted.
  • Aggregated cache payloads contain no individual data.
  • Anonymisation floor (default: 10 uids) enforced on all outputs.

PII scrubbing

All inbound text is scanned for emails, phone numbers, and URLs before analysis. Detected PII is stripped before any processing occurs. The items_scrubbed field in the POST /ingest/batch response reports how many items were affected.

Data controller

The customer is the data controller for the uid-to-identity mapping. Kai is a data processor. B2B contract specifies this. Kai cannot re-identify any individual from the data it holds.
